Project Six: Complex Still-life Study, Media Open

 

Objective:

For the Final Drawing you will focus on creating a drawing of a still-life that demonstrates all of the topics and techniques practiced during this course. These include: Negative/Positive or Figure/Ground Relationships, The Sighting Technique, Spatial Analysis, Correct Proportions, Correct Perspectives, Dynamic Range of Value, Edge Quality (i.e no line), Composition, Reflected Light, Directional Light, Texture and Environment.

 

Directions:

Step 1: You will have the opportunity to choose whatever medium you want to complete this drawing as long as it was a medium previously used in class.

 

Step 2: I do (strongly) suggest that you start with a light under-drawing utilizing the Sighting Technique to begin your project. This Project is worth 10% of your overall grade! Consider this carefully I will be highly critical when analyzing your performance.
